In the early 90's, as financial markets were becoming more complex, on a global scale, the financial services industry was going through major restructuring. The need for broader and deeper knowledge was never greater, nor were the demands on employees' time and training budgets. Dr. R. Philip Giles, a leading educator on financial markets, recognized the need among the financial sector and firms serving it for flexible, yet comprehensive training. He founded CBT Worldwide in 1995 to meet these needs. Today, leading financial services providers and the professionals who support them are choosing CBT Worldwide courses.
One of the foremost financial markets in structors in the country, Dr. Giles has lectured on financial markets and banking topics at universities and leading multinational organizations, including Bank of China, Brown Brothers Harriman, Mortgage Bankers Association , RBS Greenwich Capital, Moody’s Investor Services, JP Morgan Chase, Calyon and Wachovia.

“Phil
Giles is unusually good at making people who are daunted by difficult
material feel more open to it. He
teaches both the language and the underlying assumptions of financial
subjects. He helps audiences to go to the next steps, whatever they
might be.”
